On Saturday, October 10th, twenty-five Church Brothers employees, friends and family gathered at St. Vincent de Paul's 65,000-square-foot Pratt-Quigley Center for a morning of service. We spent our time sorting and shelving food donations, breaking down cardboard boxes for recycling, and helping people take food to their vehicles. What an amazing and humbling experience!
St. Vincent de Paul is one of Indy's largest food pantries, serving over 3,500 families each week. The most amazing thing about SVDP is that they are a 100% volunteer organization - there are no paid staff members! All of their operating expenses are covered by donations. This organization truly is a blessing to our community! If you'd like more information about St. Vincent de Paul, please visit their website at www.svdpindy.org.
The Church M.I.C.E., which stands for Motivated, Involved, Caring Employees, are a group of employees within Church Brothers who encourage philanthropy throughout the company and look for ways we can give back to the communities that support us.
